It’s hard to get the full effect of the bathroom in these pictures. The ceiling is vaulted, following the slope of the attic staircase, which continues into the cubby of shelved storage on the right. And all of the ceiling and walls above that marbled blue tile is navy. Plus, just like the kitchen, all the trim is painted black, presumably to mask the baby blue and pink color scheme that preceded the previous tenant. Rather than add coat upon coat of white (or anything but navy and black) paint, shrinking the room by several inches, I basically added as much white fabric as possible to lighten the gloom.
It’s a tight fit, but a cute one.
