I have to say, I was ready to be done with 2008.  It was a tough one.  But that’s what is so wonderful about the New Year.  We get to start fresh.

Last year, I resolved to graduate from college, start a “transition to a raw foods diet to ward off my family’s cancer,” and read the entire Bible.  I successfully graduate from college with high honors, which was a bonus.  I found out raw foods do nothing special for the type of cancer we see, so I still cook my meals.  And I made it through the Bible–a few days overdue, but finished nonetheless.  Why they thought it was a good idea to end a very lengthy and potentially confusing book with Revelation is beyond me.

A few goals for the next year:

  1. Knit legwarmers
  2. Finish my application so I can hopefully be admitted to the CSPH grad program for this fall
  3. See Mount Rushmore
  4. Float in the Great Salt Lake
  5. Use up my newly available vacation days for a wicked awesome summer vacation (Maine, maybe?)
